Admission Guidelines
We understand that you or a loved one might be experiencing distress, or in need of urgent help and this is why we provide clear supportive information and expertly trained admission staff ready to help you.
Our admission team has many years of experience in this role and they operates as a first point of contact for all enquiries about treatment at Serenity centre and can advise prospective patients, families, and also referrers on questions about our admission arrangements.
We have a clear five step admission process as shown below:
- 1.Call and speak to our admissions staff
- 2.Provide relevant medical information
- 3.Come to our centre any time of the day and we guarantee one of us will be available to help you
- 4.The medical personnel will be available to assess you, and thereafter admit the person if an agreement is reached
- 5.Arrange contributions or funds and effect them according to the set terms
What To Pack (Checklist)
- Bed sheets, blanket, mosquito net and nightwear
- Slippers (indoors), sports shoes and sportswear (co-curricular activities), open shoes and at least a pair of closed shoes for men
- Toiletries (bathing soap, washing soap, sponge, towel, non-alcoholic body spray or deodorant / body cologne, body cream, hair brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap dish and detergents, plastic shaver)
- Notebook and pen
- Alarm clock, watch, small radio (non-electronic)
Dress Code (Etiquette)
- All clients should wear decently at all times i.e. outfits below the knees for ladies, no crop tops, no leggings, and no netted clothing. All women should wear a bra and a petticoat when wearing dresses or skirts
- Men should wear loose fitting shirts / t-shirts and trousers
- No outfit with promotions of substances should be worn
- If a client is found with any indecent cloth it will be confiscated
